Electric Piano

A warm FM electric piano inspired by the Rhodes. A bright "bell" transient at the start of each note settles into a clean, sustained body — the classic electric-piano voice that sits well under melodies, chords, and comping.

No settings — the Electric Piano plays with a fixed character. To shape it further, run the track through the effects on the effect strip, or pick a KiwiSynth keys preset if you want an editable patch.

How it sounds

The "bell" comes from FM synthesis — one oscillator modulating another. That bright, metallic attack is loudest at the very start of the note and fades as the note rings out, so short notes sound percussive and glassy while held notes settle into a rounder, warmer tone.

It works well as:

• A lead voice — bright enough to cut through a mix without being harsh.
• Comping chords — the natural decay keeps stacked chords from turning muddy.
• A soft pad — hold long notes and let them ring so chords blur together.
